In this user guide, we will guide you through the process of enabling dilapidation reports as a button and effectively using these features. This includes instructions on filling out the reports, adding photos, dropping pins on attached drawings, and printing the reports.

1- Setup and Prepare for the Dilapidation Report

1.1 - Turn on button and enable workflow

Before you proceed, please note that this only needs to be done on the first initial setup. If this has been done previously, please skip this section and jump straight to section 2. First, open QMS V6 on your desktop and sync the required project. Next, navigate to the Settings section. Please note that to access the settings, your account must have admin permissions enabled.

Within settings, select Inspection Types. This will display all available lookup options for inspection types. Locate "Dilapidation," right-click on it, and choose Edit from the dropdown menu.

A window will load within which you will have 2 checkboxes, Visible as a Button and Enable Workflow.

Ensure that both of these options are enabled and click Save.

1.2 - Create a Template

Create a template that has a Description field and a date and ensure that Form Type is set to Dilapidation and code DIL.

In this section we will cover in detail how to prepare, modify and generate Dilapidation Reports.

2.2 - Master List

Before we proceed, we will need to prepopulate the Inspection Packs for Dilapidation Report. Navigate to the QA tab and select the required folder from the Work Breakdown Structure.
